Thanksgiving is actually our favorite holiday. I know for us, it makes us step back and meditate on the many blessings in our lives. In reality, we ALL have SO MUCH to be thankful for.
To start with, think about all of the love that is continually poured out on us through Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Giving us right standing with God, taking away all of our sins through the blood of His cross and eventually bringing us forever into His loving presence. That alone is far beyond what we can fathom and be grateful for every day!
And then there is the natural part of life — Each of us in different places, having gone through different challenges in our journeys. But no matter where you are or what you have been through, you can surely find a list of things to be thankful for. Like these:
If you’re alive and breathing, eating, seeing, talking or walking, which some precious people cannot do, be thankful.
For families, friends, coworkers, for life and love, be thankful.
For material things like a roof over our heads, transportation to and from places, let’s be grateful.
Then there’s this amazing, beautiful earth and sky that God has given us to admire, with its trees and rivers, oceans and mountains, clouds and stars and planets. WOW!
There’s SO MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR, even if things aren’t perfect!
We also thank God for you, for your prayers and support of our music and ministry. It means a lot to us and we give thanks for you and pray you will have a very blessed holiday season.
If things are tough in your life and circumstances are challenging, we will pray for you to receive the Lord’s strength and grace to help and bring you through the trouble and pain.
Let them give thanks to the LORD for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for mankind. Psalm 107:8
With much love and thankfulness,
