As we blast off into 2018 we want to encourage you with a good word!
YOU are a very special and unique person, and God has created you in His image and likeness. You are His child! He loves you so much and has loaded youwith SPECIAL gifts and talents that are unique only to you.
The scripture says:
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10
That’s right! You are His masterpiece, fearfully and wonderfully made and no one can take your place. The world needs you and God has great plans for you!
The Lord desires that you pursue ALL He has created you to be and do – to DREAM and EXPLORE and FIND ALL that God would have you do with the gifts and talents He has given you!
Paul put it like this:
Not that I have already attained or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Philippians 3:12
God has taken hold of you for very special purposes. No one can fill your shoes or take your place, and we all need what YOU have to offer. Your gifts may not be preaching, teaching or singing, but they may be loving, serving or helping like no one else can do!
Take what God has given you and use it for His glory, and press further into the ocean of God’s grace, discovering all that He has created you for.
If you will do this, you will not only bless the Lord but YOU and all those who know you will be blessed.
