As we run through the month of February with all of the commercial emphasis on Love, let’s magnify above all things the amazing Love of God that never fails!
Romans 8 says, Nothing can ever separate us from the Love of God that is in Christ Jesus.
Earthly love changes from day to day and is based on performance, but God’s Love never changes. It is ALWAYS ON, no matter what you face or what you do!
Paul told us it’s Christ’s love that compels us, controls us, guides us. Everything we do every day should be motivated by Love. We need to love each other the way Christ loved us!
Also, let’s always remember the amazing verse in 1 Corinthians 13 showing us what love really is:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not
boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not
self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of
wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the
truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes,
always perseveres. Love never fails…
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the GREATEST of these is love.
So thankful for God’s Love,
